Paige made it to the top, still grinning. "So which table do you want?" she asked. There were only two small tables

"Uhm, that one, I guess," he nodded to the closer one.

She sat down and pick up one of the menus that was sitting on the table. "This is one of my favorite places in the city."

"How'd you find it?" he asked, as it was a smaller restaurant and rather interesting, at that.

"One day after visiting my brother at the hospital I really wanted pizza and I saw this place so I came in," she said.

He nodded. "What do you usually get?" he asked.

"pepperoni pizza," she said. "with cheese garlic bread."

"Sounds delicious," he said, looking at the menu.

"But everything is good if you want something else," she said

"No, I like pepperoni," he replied, giving her a smile.

She smiled back. "They have some fantastic deserts too."

He grinned. "I do like dessert."

she laughed, "I know. The cheesecake is really good."

"We'll have to get some then." He said with an affirmative nod.

The waitress came and took their order. "What project do you have due tomorrow?" Paige asked after the waitress left.

"A history thing. We have to do a presentation on WWII," he replied. "We've got a huge diorama, it's really a pain."

She nodded. "Is it done?"

"yeah," he nodded. "Just have to turn it in and present."

"Cool. History is your second class, right?" she asked

He nodded. "Yeah it is."

"Maybe I'll sneak in the back and watch your presentation," she said with a grin.

He laughed. "If you want. It'll probably be pretty boring."

"I'm sure it'll be fantastic," she said. "If I get bored I can always make funny faces at you."

He laughed. "Yes, that would be great. Make me laugh in the middle of my project."

"It wouldn't be that bad," she said. "But I guess I could just sit quietly in the back and not make you laugh."

"I would appreciate that," he smiled.

She smiled back. Sitting her with him felt wonderful. She just wished there was a way to stop him from going to school in the morning. "Dig in," she said after the waitress brought them their pizza.

"Mm, this is delicious," he grinned as they ate.

"It is, much better than anything I could make," she said

He laughed. "Yeah well, me too."

"we'll have to test that sometime," she said. "I bet there is something you can cook."

He ran a hand through his hair and after a moment, responded with a rather cocky smile. "I do make a killer grilled cheese."

She laughed, "I knew it. Next time I beat you, at any game, you have to make me a grilled cheese."

"Alright," he grinned. "If you ever beat me again."

"Oh I will, don't worry." she said with a smirk. "maybe later today."

"We'll see about that," he said with a good natured roll of his eyes.

She grinned, "if you're so confident you'll win let's raise the stakes. What's a good bet?"

"I'm not gonna come up with the stakes if I lose," he laughed. "That's your job."

ooc: I'm sorry I've been so erratic with posting lately, I've been crazy busy with school starting up again.

Ooc: its fine. I'm taking three summer classas so I've been super busy too

Ic: Paige grinned. "Okay, if you lose you have to make me a grilled cheese and take me ice skating. What if I lose?"
