Sam sat down, unsure if she should take her shirt off yet. But she assumed he'd make the trace where she wanted the tattoo so she pulled her tshirt off and showed him on her side where she wanted the tattoo.

"Good to know." Paige said. "Play again?"

"Sure," he nodded, blinking his eyes furiously, trying to keep them from drying out again.

ph god...the ring. His eyes darted to Jaime's hand his stomach sinking

He took the pen and traced the design onto her skin, " would it be more comfortable without the shirt?" he asked as he got everything else ready

"We can take a break," paige suggested.


Sam nodded, "yeah. probably." She pulled her shirt the rest of the way off and dropped it on the floor.

Jaimie was still signing, though the ring faced her and not her mother. Seeing Braden's look, she glanced down to her hand and saw the ring. Oh dear. "Excuse me, mama, I need to use the washroom," Jaimie excused herself, hiding her hand from view.
"So, Braden. What will you be doing after you graduate in the spring? Any plans for your future?" the woman turned to the young man.

Jarid smiled. "Okay. But only if I can kiss you again."

she was...stunning. he took a deep breath and sitting on his stool rolled over to her, " any color or just black?"

he had a lot of plans but none that he could share with this woman, "I might go to collage but more than likely I'll get a job in my family company for a while at least." he said signing everything he said

"Just black," she said looking up at him. She tried not to think about the first time she'd taken her shirt off in front of him but it took all her strength to not lean up and kiss him

"Ah yes," the woman nodded.
Jaimie came back, the ring gone. "Mama, you must be tired from your trip, you've always been horribly affected by jet lag. Perhaps you'd like to lay down for a bit before you see your friends tonight."
She smiled. "Yes, of course my dear. You always were so thoughtful." She stood and pressed a kiss to her daughter's cheeks, then turned to Braden and Sasha. "I think I will lay down for a while. It's been so nice speaking with you," she said before disappearing down the hallway.
Jaimie sat on the couch and let out a long breath. Thank god.

Paige grinned, "you don't have to ask."

He leaned in and kissed her, hard.

She kissed him back just as hard as she moved closer

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him, into his lap.

Paige slipped her hand under his shirt and onto his back as she deepened the kiss

jeff nodded, "Ok so here we go." he said turning on the tattoo gun

Braden looked at both the girls, " well that went...well." he signed not sure if their mother could hear

Sam kept her eyes on him as she prepared for the pain.

he smiled at her then concentrated on the design every few seconds he swabbed away the little drops of blood that formed

"How's it going?" she asked after a few minutes. It didn't hurt nearly as much as she thought it would.

"Its going good..." he said without pausing, "your taking it well."

"Been through worse," she said. Sam looked up at the ceiling for a minute. Him being this close to hurt way more than the tattoo.

Jeff chuckled and kept buzzing away. finally the tattoo was done, "all set."

Braden saw the look on sasha's face but didn't know what to do to help

"Can I see it?" Sam asked. She wanted to sit up but she wasn't sure if that was a good idea yet.


she pulled away slightly. "Jarid," she breathed. "What are we doing?"

he nodded and handed her a mirror, " what do you think?"

She looked at the tattoo for a minute before looking up at him. "Its perfect, thank you."

he gave a solid nod, "good. glad you like it." he said rolling away and getting the bandages

she reached down for her shirt but she could reach it, not that she really cared. She'd grab it later.

he came back over with the ointment and the bandage, "so I'm going to get this covered up but there are a few things to know," he started applying the ointment, "don't shower to day but after that go for it, Don't go swimming for at least a week and keep it clean." he started putting on the bandage, "loos fitting clothes are also a plus."

Sam smiled, "I think I can manage that." she sat up slowly after he finished putting the bandage on. she looked at him for a moment, she wanted to kiss him so much.

her sitting up changed the dynamic of the space between them as he stood up and glanced at her they weren't far from each other at all. he looked at her and tried to smile.

she tried to smile but couldn't, this was just to hard. she looked down for a minute then back at him. She had to know if he had any feelings for her. she leaned up and pressed her lips to his

her lips against his shocked him. he wasn't expecting it at all. he pulled away stepping back his face written with the shock he felt the back of his hand went to his mouth his eyes trained on her. what was she thinking?

Sam jumped up and grabbed her shirt, trying to hide how much he had hurt her. That one look had broken her heart. He felt nothing, nothing.

"What the hell Sam?" he asked still totally shocked. he wasn't trying to be mean at all he was just...he was confused, "what...were...I...Sam" he let out a long sigh

"I'm sorry," she said as she jerked her shirt back on, ignoring the pain it caused. "I'm sorry."

"I'm not wanting an apology," he pulled his gloves off, " I just want to know what happened." sure a kiss but why? what was she thinking? they had never been that way

she looked over at him. "I kissed you." she said simply. "I thought..." she sighed. "I don't know what I thought."

"why?" he was sounding more like a jerk with every question. he took a deep breath, "I'm just...a little lost....I...." before he could figure out that sentence a group of cackling girls walked into the parlor. Jeff sighed not looking away from Sam

"You have customers," she said. "I'll...see you later." She didn't know what hurt more, knowing that he actually felt nothing or that before he had only kissed her because he was drunk.
