She grinned, "you might be, but maybe I just like New York," she teased.

"Oh now that's not fair." he laughed.

She grinned and slid her hand into his as they walked outside. "I think its perfectly fair."

Jarid grinned and they got into the car that pulled up.

" you look happy." Carl smiled, " aced a test or something?"

"Just glad the day is over. How was your day?" Brooklynn asked.

They were to Paige's building in a few minutes. She jumped out of the car. "Thanks for the ride, Joe. See you tomorrow." She said to the driver.

Jarid thanked the driver and got out. "Lead me to the hot tub!" he proclaimed.

Paige laughed as she lead him into the building and up to the top floor. "I have to change quick," she said as she opened the door to her apartment and let him in.

"Okay," he agreed. "Take your time."

"The hot tub is on the patio, its connected to the house with a glass tunnel, I'll meet your there." She said before disappearing into her room.

"Okay," he agreed, following her instructions to the hot tub.

Paige appeared a few minutes later, holding two large towels and wearing a blue bikini. "Is it warm enough?"

"Feels great," he replied before turning to look at her. "Wow, you look great."

She grinned and put the towels down before climbing in. "Thanks. This feels great."

"Yeah, it does," but he couldn't keep his eyes off her. She looked amazing.

he shrugged, " I tend to not like mondays so yeah."

"Do you have any plans for after school?" Brooklynn asked.

a smile slowly covered his face, "I was hoping they would include you."

"I think we could make that happen," she grinned, taking his hand. Thank god it had ended like this, not like it had before. He was okay, everyone else was okay, everything was fine.

"Any ideas?" he asked

"Let's just go for a walk," she smiled. It was such a simple thing, but it was perfect, because he could.

"So what do you want to do tomorrow?" Paige asked as she sat and flicked the bubbles at him.

"Anything you want," he said as he wiped his face, then splashed her.

She laughed and flicked more bubbles at him. "You wont win."

"Oh, you think?" he asked, slapping the water and creating a big splash to douse her in water.

She wiped the water off her face and grinned she moved closer and pushed his head under the water.

He grabbed her legs and pulled her under as well, popping back out of the water with a grin.

she came back up, flinging her wet hair off her face. "Okay, you win."

He laughed. "Thanks. I know I did."

Paige rolled her eyes, "I could have won if I wanted to."

"Sure you could have," he replied, looking very pleased with himself.

"I could have," she insisted as she moved closer. "But I was being nice."

"ok." he said as he headed towards the school door. he glanced over at her. she semed to be acting a little strange

Braden had made himself at home finding a soda and some chips he waited on the couch

"Sure," Jarid laughed.

Brooklynn smiled as they walked out of the school. "Glad to be done with school today."

Jaimie got home and set her bag down, Sasha heading back to to her room to work on her homework. "Bray?" Jaimie called. "Are you here?"

Paige pulled her hands out from under the water and splashed him again.

Jarid grinned and wiped his face.

She laughed and sat beside him. "How would you feel about going to the zoo tomorrow?"

"Sounds wonderful," Jarid agreed.

"living room." he called out

"me too. it was an off day."
