"I never thought I would hear you complain about her." Harry said patting him on teh back with approval

"Well, uh.. you know, we have to let it out somehow..." now he felt bad, he didn't want to talk bad about Summer.

he nodded, " good for you." he said then walked over to the fridge.

Summer walked down the stairs. her designer boots clanking on the stairs. "What's for breakfast?' she asked as she walked into the kitchen

hary didnt even look up," nothing that concerns you."

Summer pushed past him and opened the fridge. "Why dont we have anything that's low fat?"

Lucy sighed and stood, patting the dog on his head one more time before going into the kitchen. "You're wearing those boots for chores?" she asked Summer, disbelieving.

"I"m not doing any dirty chores," she said grabbing an apple out of the fridge.

"Summer, you know the rules. You live here, you do chores," Lucy said patiently. Where was Jeb? She would need backup on this.

Summer rolled her eyes, "There are pleanty of "chores" I can do that dont involve getting dirty."

"Summer," Lucy sighed, "Go change your shoes. You know what kind of chores we do and you can't do the easy ones just because you're wearing new boots."

Summer took a bite of her apple and glared at Lucy as she walked out of the kitchen and stomped her way up stairs

Lucy sighed and sat. At least she hadn't argued too much.

ooc: I'm gonna be kinda sporadically posting. It's cleaning day.

"YEah and you all were wondering why I didn't want her to come back." harry said

Summer put on her other boots and stomped back down stairs, "happy now?"

"Not now, Harry," Lucy said, shaking her head. "Yes, thank you Summer."

"I'm so glad you aprove," she said sarcastly.


ooc. MJ is this how you imagined summer? Cause I can do whatever you want me to with her

"No she doesn't she's just putting up with it." Harry snorted

ooc: not at all but its an interesting character

"No one asked your opion," she growled, glaring at Harry

ooc. Ok. I wasn't really sure what you wanted for her

"Yeah and no one asked you to come back."

She rolled her eyes and took another bite of her apple

"Both of you stop," Lucy snapped before walking outside.

Jed walked past the group of kids and put his hat on not saying a word

Marshal looked at his siblings and then followed Lucy outside to start with the chores.

Jed walked by Lucy and sighed. he didn't have to talk...he hardly ever did.


Harry pushed past Summer and headed outside

Kate had watcher her sisters display before sighing and dumping her bowl into the sink and going outside to get on with the days work.

Lucy followed Jed. Unlike him, she did need to talk. "I don't know how we are going to keep doing this, Jed. We need her but the way she's acting..."

Jed nodded and took a deep breath and opened the barn doors, " I have an idea but she nor anyone in the house is going to like it."

"What?" Lucy asked warily.

"If she refuses to act like the family we at least make her dress and look like one of us." he said as he started puting oats in the feeding troughs

"That's not going to solve anything, Jed. I don't care if she doesn't look like us, we just need her to do her chores."

Summer finished her apple and walked out the back door and walked to the stable. She grabbed a brush and started brushing the horses

"A rewards system." he said finishing dumping the oats

"Well... that might work.." Lucy replied after some thought.

he nodded, " think about it and let me know."

"Alright," she agreed and walked away to work on her own chores.

Jed finished what he needed to do in the barn and tehn headed out to the field

After she called everyone for lunch, she pulled Jed aside. "I think that would work well. The rewards system, I mean."

he nodded, " we will need to get her things out of her room then. leave her the bare minimum."

Summer walked back to the house for lunch, ignoring everyone as she got her food
