"Oh cool," Kate smiled, "I love her playing."

he almost smiled but his eyes did what his mouth wouldn't, " yeah its good for her but you two need to get goin and get ready."

Summer washed up after finishing all her day chores and things. She went to her room and got ready for going to Lucy's show.

"Right oh," she nodded with a salute and a smile before hurrying off to get presentable.

Jeb was ready in a few minutes. he had an ironed button up plaid shirt on with dark blue jeans. hsi hair was clean and slicked back his hat in hand. he knocked on Summer's door, " you in there?"

Summer had on a nice plaid shirt on that was a light teal color that was 3/4 sleeved and light blue jeans. She opened the door. "Yeah?" she asked.

" I just came to see if you were ready?" Jed wasn't one for feelings so this was his way of asking if she was doing ok

SHe nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready. What time are we leaving?" she asked. She did not really want to get in a discussion on how she was doing that day. The days were better when the others were around and she wasn't home alone with Kate and Harry. Kate was fine to be around but Harry and her were not on good terms.

"in about ten minutes," he said with a nod then left

Lucy sat downstairs on the couch, tuning the guitar. She was getting butterflies, but was always excited to get them, they were so different than the feelings she had while working around the ranch.

Harrison walked into the living room wearing a clean pair of blue jeans, a solid tan button up shirt. his hair was combed back and jelled into place and no cowboy hat to be seen anywhere, " you nervous?" he asked his sister

"A little... But I think it's a good nervous." she replied, smiling up at him.

he chuckled, " thats a good thing right?"

"Yeah," she replied, setting the guitar aside.

he reached up and touched his head. he felt so bare without his hat, " so what songs are you playing?" he asked as he sat down on the couch

Lucy smiled, tugging on a piece of her hair, slightly embarrassed. "Uh, I really haven't decided yet..."

he chuckled, " Nice. winging it."

"Not purposely," Lucy laughed, embarrassed. "I just... never got around to picking them out."

he smiled and leaned his head back, " well I think you will be just fine. you always are."

She smiled. "Thanks kid."

Jed came in his hat snug on his head looking very cowboyesk, " you two ready?"

"Yep, I think we're set," Lucy said, standing.

"OK Everyone lets go!" he called up to everyone who hadn't gathered

Marshall came down the stairs with a loud jumble of noise, grinning. "We headin' out?"

Jed nodded, " we need to get there early."

Summer walked down the sitars, to meet the others in the family room.

Lucy joined them by the door, running her fingers through her hair which was down for once.

ooc: Tia you mean kate?

Jed didn't say anything as they all piled into the truck and headed for the tavern.
It was packed tonight as Jed Pulled up to the front of the bar and parked the car. he got out with Lucy's guitar that had ridden on Kate's lap the whole way into town. everyone else was in the back of the truck. he let down the tail gate to make getting out a little easier looking around scanning the crowd that was going in. he didn't like social gatherings at all but he came to support his sister

Lucy and Marshall slipped out of the back of the truck, Lucy taking her guitar from Jed.

Jed touched his cowboy hat as if checking if it was snug enough on his head. Harrison got out and smiled at his sister, " you ready for this?"

She smiled. "As ready as I'm going to be, I suppose."

he chuckled, " that doesn't sound too reassuring."

She laughed. "I guess not. But I'll be fine."

he nodded, " of course you will. you are going to knock their socks off."

"Thanks, kid," she smiled and put her arm around her younger brother's shoulders.

he put his arm around her waist, " any time."

She shook her head, smiling as they walked inside.

"Lucy," one of the girls who worked there called out over the throng of voices

"See you in a bit," she told Harry before going to find the girl who had called her name.

"You are almost late," she said smiling, " so...uhm...is your brother dating anyone?"
