he nodded, " see you in the morning." he said then put his hat back on his head. Jed wasn't one for extra words.

The Next Day

Jed was out in the fields literally at the break of dawn. he was digging fence posts holes to expand the cow pen

Harry sat up slowly. his jaw felt like it had been hit by a train. there was Tylenol and a glass of water on his bedside table. he reached over chugging it all down in one. Jed was a jerk

Marshall wandered downstairs and outside, surprised to see someone all the way out in the cow pen, already working. "Jed?" he called once he was close enough to see who it was.

Jed Slammed the post holler into the ground and looked up, " Marshal."

Jed pulled the post holler out of the ground, " Harry." was all he said

Harry pulled the door open glaring, " what?" he snapped

Harry glared at her, " I got socked in the jaw remember?"
