He grinned. "Awesome," he set the controller aside and put his hands behind his head, grinning.

Paige playfully pushed him. "Let's see if you still think that after dinner."

He shrugged. "It'll probably be better than if I made it."

"Maybe. What do you want me to make?" She asked as she leaned into the couch

"How about something easy? Like Spagetti? I'd like eat tonight, so that shouldn't be hard."

"Very funny," she said sarcasticly. "But I can make spagetti. Do you want me to make it now?"

"I'm not really hungry," he shrugged. "Are you?"

and just like that the awkward was back. he ate the rest of his dinner trying not to make direct eye contact with Jaime

Once she'd finished, Sasha thanked him and then hurried off to do more homework. Jaimie collected the dishes and began washing them. Could she do this? Would he understand her hesitance? Her anxiety about it? Her hands shook as she put the dishes in the dishwasher.

Paige shook her head, "no. Should we keep. Playing?"

He nodded. "Sounds good." At least this felt normal. Today had been so weird with everything that happened, he was glad for something being normal with them.

steping up behind her he put a hand over her arm, "talk to me." he said softly. waiting for no reason wasn't helping either of them

Paige enjoyed playing with him, it was normal. She could almost forget everything that had happened earlier. She didn't even mind that she kept losing.

Jaimie cleared her throat. "I'm worried," she said softly. "I haven't been able to think about anything else all day."

"Are you letting me win?" he asked, laughing, after a few more rounds of him winning. "Cause that is no fun, Paige."

She laughed, "I'm not letting you win." She streched before they started again.

"You sure? You haven't lost this much since we first started playing," he grinned, and began playing again. "Maybe you lost your touch," he teased.

"Have not," she said after she won the next game. She nudged him, "I was just getting warmed up."

He grinned. "Finally! A challenge!" he laughed. He restarted the game. "Nice to see you finally joining us!"

He gently pulled her around so she wa facing him, "and?"

Ooc: I can't see you're girls pic. And I'm thinking all of us should start with at least one peasant/servant

ooc: I'll fix it. And I was just trying to think of a character to use, I had planned on creating one =]

ic: "I'm anxious about it, Bray... I don't know if I'll be any good at this. Or if I'll... I don't know." She ran a hand through her hair. Then, in a much softer voice, she added, "I'm scared."

Ooc. I'll make charaters for Rome probably tomorrow, gotta get my paper done lol


Paige grinned, "you just wait." She said laughing. She won the next two games.

Jarid grinned. "Alright, looks like you've got your game back," he said with a nod. "But as per our earlier bet, you've got to make dinner. Which I could totally go for right now. You hungry yet?"

He nodded touching her face," I'm scared too Jaime. But is that really a good reason to not try?"

"Yeah," Paige stood and streched. "Can you show me where everything is?"

"Sure," he nodded, showing her into the kitchen, and then showing her around the kitchen.

"I don't know, Braden. I'm just... I don't want to get hurt. And I don't want to hurt you."

"You go relax," she said. "I'll let you know when dinner is ready."

"the last think I want is for yoy to get hurt." He cupped her face between his hands, "i...I love you Jaime."

Jaimie was a little startled by his admission. "Oh... Bray... I... I don't know if I can... wow." she was completely taken aback.

Jarid grinned, sitting at the table and putting his feet up on the chair next to him.

Paige rolled her eyes when she saw Jarid but got to work on dinner anyway. A little over twenty minutes later she set the table and put the food on. She made spaghetti and a salad to go with it. "I hope you're hungry."

He leaned in pressing a gentle kiss to her lips. He hadn't expected her to say it back but she hadn't pulled away so that was a plus

"Always," he grinned. "And this looks good. I thought you said you couldn't cook."

She allowed him a short kiss, then pulled back. "I'm... I can try the monogamy... thing. But please, just... I don't know if I'll be any good at it."
