"Good," she grinned. She finished her food a few minutes later

"this weekend had been a blast." He said racing up and touching her face, "thanks."

"You want dessert?" Jarid asked. 

"I had a great time too." Brooklynn agreed.

Paige shook her head, "I'm stuffed. I don't usuallu eat this much."

"I should probably let you go soon," he sighed, "don't want to keep you out to late. your parents might change their opinion of me."

Jarid laughed. "Yeah I am too."

"They could never," Brooklynn smiled.

"Should we head back to your place then?" Paige asked after they paid.

He smiled sitting back up, "still. As much as I would love to stay out with you all night, I should let yoy grey your sleep. History test tomorrow."

"Yeah, I guess," Jarid nodded, standing. 

Brooklynn groaned, but smiled. "Alright, I guess you're right."

Paige stood and pulled her coat back on, "lead the way, maybe we wont get lost this time," she joked.

"of course im right," he said teasingly, "im the genius after all."

Jarid laughed. "Maybe. No promises though," he said taking her hand. 

Brooklynn rolled her eyes, smiling. "Yeah yeah yeah. Alright," she sighed, standing. She would call the police when she got home, tell them that there would be a shooting. They had to stop it, right?

Paige smiled, "well getting lost isn't the worst thing ever, and I'd be with you so it'd be ok."

"Of course you would be." He grinned.

Carl stood up holding her hand. He led her to the garage where Lloyd was already waiting.

"Thanks," she kissed a kiss to his cheek.

Paige smiled as they walked, today had been perfect but tomorrow could change everything.

Sam looked in the rear view mirror for the tenth time in the past two minutes. She had been sitting across from the school for the last half hour, waiting for Nikki to show up. She was going to talk to her, try to talk her out of killing people but if that didn't work she was prepared to take more drastic measures, but she didn't want to.


Paige gathered her books and headed out. She had arranged for her father's driver to take both her and Jarid to school. Maybe they would get stuck in traffic and not get to school

Brooklynn had called the police the night before and they had been less than willing to take her tip, but assured her that they would send an officer out the next morning to make sure nothing happened. 

"Thanks for picking me up," Jarid said as he got in the car.

"Sure, do you have everything you need for your presentation?" Paige asked.

He nodded. "Yep, I'm all good."

Paige smiled as the car started moving again. "I was gonna barrow the limo but my dad said no, I hope this is ok."

Jarid laughed. "Yeah this is good."

"Are you ready for your presentation?" She asked as she turned to face him

He laughed again. "Yeah, yeah I don't think we'll have a problem."

She smiled, "good, I'm sure you'll do great."

Braden woke up the next morning in time for school. he was half way ready when he remembered. Right he had promised...here was so confused but she had insisted so he wouldn't go.

Carl stepped out of the car and headed for the school. He noticed a police car next to the school but shrugged it off

Brooklynn was at school, hoping that the police had taken her seriously.  The police car gave her hope, but she was anxious anyway.

Sam noticed the police car as she sipped her coffee. She glanced at her watch then stepped out of her car. She had time to grab more coffee. Nikki wouldn't be here for at least twenty more minutes.
