Trish gave a nod and started walking. poor girl.

The walk wasn't long enough and Jaimie didnt want to enter the store. "Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked softly, stalling.

"I have a feeling you need a friend." she said then gestured to the store as she moved to open the door

She swallowed and then nodded, walking into the store. She walked quickly through the store, grabbing the box of pregnancy tests. "Just this" she told the older woman at the cashier, keeping her eyes down, away from the judgmental looks she was sure she was getting.

Trish paid and smiled at the older woman as if to say I don't care what you think.
"Here you go." the lady said in monotone
"Thank you. Have a great day." Trish said a little too chipper for normal but her smile sold the I dont care she was trying to sell

"Thank you," Jaimie said as they walked out. "Again." She hailed a taxi and then looked back at her. "Would you... come with me? I don't think I can... do this alone."

"we could go to my place if you don't want to do it around your family." Trish offered

"Only my sister is there. And... if it's real, then she's the first person who needs to know," Jaimie replied.

"okay...I'll go with you then if you want." she offered

"Thanks," Jaimie nodded and slid into the taxi that had pulled up. She gave the driver her address as Trish got in.

Trish didn't say anything as they drove. she was calm and collected. Thats what was needed of her right now

Jaimie showed her up to the penthouse. "This is my place, I guess," she said, setting her bag down. "My sister will probably be home soon."

"Nice place," she said looking around, " how much have you had to drink today?"

"Not much," Jaimie shrugged. "Maybe a bottle of water this morning."

"Good..don't want to water it down too much." she said with a slight smile, "its better not to force it."

"How do you know so much about this?" she asked.

"My moms a midwife and a crisis pregnancy counselor." she said with a shrug

"Oh," Jaimie nodded. "Well... that's useful at the moment," she forced a smile.

trish chuckled, "Yeah its not the first time."

"I suppose.. I should," she lifted the bag. "take this test.."

"If you can..I mean...yeah...I'll be out here once your are done." she with a little nodd

Jaimie nodded and took the bag, disappearing back into the bathroom. Her hands shook as she took out the test. After she used it, she set it aside and came back out to find Trish.

Trish had gotten herself a glass of water and one for Jaime. as soon as she saw her she handed her the water, "anything?"

"We've got to wait a couple minutes," Jaimie replied. "Before it says anything."

"drink that." She said handing her the water, "Water keeps me calm."

Jaimie took the glass and a long drink. She hoped Sasha would get home late, she didn't want her sister walking into this."Thanks," she murmured again.

"You're very welcome." She wished she could help more

The front door opened and Jaimie sighed. "My sister." she said in explaination.
The young girl stuck her head into the kitchen and smiled when she saw Jaimie and another girl. "Hi, who is your friend?" she signed.
"Her name's Trish," Jaimie responded, before turning to Trish. "My sister, Sasha."

Jarid grinned. "Yeah. Lets do that," he agreed.

"Would you mind giving us some privacy?" Se asked Sasha, who looked at her sister worriedly.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing. We just need a few minutes."
Sasha nodded and went back to her bedroom, looking back worriedly at her sister.
Jaimie looked back at Trish. "So that's my sister."
