The Union RPG

"I wonder if this was built before the union came," Athena said. "This would be a great place to hide."

"It would of had to be." he mused, "this place hasn't been disturbed for quite some time." walking through the main room he opened the first door he saw. lifting up the computer for light he wasn't sure what to think. it looked like a circuit breaker and a few hot water tanks. he looked at the schismatics again. he had assumed it was a small room but he obviously had been wrong

Athena walked into the room, shining her flashlight around. "Do you think it still works?"

he shrugged, " I have no idea. if it works off the main grid probably not but a place like this...I can't imagine they would go through the trouble of building something like this and not have a back up generator or something."

She looked at the circuit breaker for a minute, "lets keep looking around."

if this did work there would be running water and electricity. it would be wonderful. he closed the door and followed Athina to the next room. it was a fairly large bathroom with three toilet stalls, three shower stalls and a small locker section, "looks like they were preparing for a crowd."

"It does," she said. "How many people do you think would fit down here?"

"150 a little less comfortably but it would still work." he said looking at his computer then back to the bathroom

"We could move HQ to here," she said. "And if we could get everything to work...we'd having running water."

"Why move if you have a place?" he asked

"We move every so often, the Union isn't going to give up until they get all of us," she explained.

"Sounds like them," he said stepping out of the bathroom and headed for the next door

"This would be a safe place," she opened the next door.

"and a kitchen worthy of an army." he said his eyes widening at the prospect.

"Wow," she looked over at him. "Does it say who built this building?"

he shook his head, "No." he said stepping in. there were three full industrial stoves as well as two refrigerators and two stand up freezers. there were two industrial style sinks along with a slew of cupboards.

"We're going to have to see if we can get all of this working," Athena said.

"If it does that would seem almost like old times," he grinned

"Almost, yeah. How many rooms are left?" she asked

Brit stepped inside, it was one of the many places she had never been. "Did you enjoy working for him?"

"He was... Very interesting to work with. Perhaps not the easiest, but he was very grateful to have help." He tried to be diplomatic about his previous boss. He pulled out a chair for her.

"Thanks," Brit said as she sat. "Was he the first person you worked for?"

"21 I think from what we have seen already," tevon replied

"I did some general assistance for a month, basically anyone who needed an extra pair of hands for the day or so. That was much harder," he smiled. He took the seat across from her. A man, dressed in all white, deposited 2 small menus on the table before disappearing into the small crowd in the restaurant.

"Do you want to keep going or have you seen enough?" She asked.


Brit looked at the menu for a minute, "what have you enjoyed doing the most?"

Tevon grinned, " I wold like to see the rest but we did leave them just standing up there."

"They'll be fine," Athena said. "Lets keep going."

"Honestly, it's all very interesting. There are a large number of projects going on right now that anyone outside the union wouldn't even begin to dream of."

and so they did only one of the bathrooms had no toilets just five stalls with bathtubs. the other rooms were all empty though huge.

"There are," Brit agreed. "Some of the projects will benefit everyone once they are finished."

"We could put beds in the empty rooms," Athena said she as started back to the others.

"Like the supplements and the health advances being made," Nicholas agreed. "There are many things tht could benefit the population."

"Yes, and hopefully they'll be finished soon." She looked down at the menu. "What's good?"

"we could though getting beds through that small opening might be a little difficult."

"Maybe cots?" she suggested. "We have some that fold up. We'd have to sleep in shifts then but it could work."

"or we could get more." he said a grin spreading over his face, "how do you think the union would feel about a raising party?"

Athena grinned, "they wouldn't know what to do. But we'll have to talk to River about it."

he chuckled. they might get along after all

"Nearly everything," he replied. "They serve many union officials, so they don't really serve anything that isn't good."

"I don't think River will object though, as long as we don't intentional kill anyone," she said.


"What are you getting?" Brit asked. She usually just ate in her lab or went up to her apartment.

"The avocado chicken sandwich is my favorite. It's simply a delicacy."

"That does sound good," Brit agreed. "I think I'll get that too."
