"Oh," Brooklynn was startled. "Oh, uhm, sure," she was surprised by that. "Yes," she amended. "I would like to meet your parents." Perhaps a small lie, but she knew she'd have to be approved by his parents for him to have time to see her.

"Yikes," Jarid grimaced. "That sounds awful. Why'd he knock it over?"

"Really? Great," he hadn't thought she would agree to it, " my mom was hoping...I mean I was also really hoping...she is making a big dinner."

"Great," Brooklynn smiled. "Uhm... What have you told them about me? Just so I know..."

He grinned, "everything. That you are smart, and kind, and really beautiful."

Brooklynn blushed and looked away. "You're really sweet, you know that?"

He shrugged, "its the truth...do you know that?"

"I'm not used to someone telling me that all the time," she replied, tilting her head as she looked at him. She'd have to change before going over to his place, she wanted to make a good impression. Oh now she was worried. He'd probably built up their expectations so much. How could she live up to them?

She shrugged, "my dad must have left it on the table and Zeus was probably rubbing on the bowl and pushed everything onto the floor."

"Man Zeus, always getting in trouble," Jarid teased a little with a grin.

He took s mental deep breath before boldly stating, "well you beter get used to it."

Brooklynn smiled. "I'll try," she assured him.

The bell for class sounded louder than normal it seemed and before he could talk himself out if it he leaned over giving Brooklyn a kiss on the xheek, " see you after class," he almost whispered and then hurried to class

Brooklynn looked after him for a moment, then went to her own class, unable to keep from grinning.

"Yeah, I better get to class," she said. "See ya later."

"Yeah, see you," Jarid nodded before heading off to his own class.

Paige walked into art and flopped into her chair. She was to tired to care today.

School seemed to drag on forever but when that glorious last bell rang Carl nearly ran over a few students getting out of class.

Braden picked up his books and headed to the lockers. The last few days had been amazing. Perhaps he was reacting too quickly, pat sure thought he was, but he honestly could see spending the majority of his life with her

Brooklynn walked quickly to her locker, she was going to need time to get ready for dinner. She was anxious, but a little bit excited. She really wanted them to like her.

Jaimie felt awkward. She wasn't used to the idea of totally being with someone. She liked it, sure, it was nice to have Braden around, but it still felt awkward. She wasn't sure she liked knowing that he thought about her a lot.

Jarid walked down the halls, looking for Paige. He'd hoped to invite her to his place, hang out for a while, if she could.

"hey beautiful." Carl said with a big smile walking up to Brooklyn, "i hope your ready for tonight."

"Well I need to go home and change, but then I'll be ready," she replied with a smile. "I can't meet your parents in a t-shirt, genius," she added with a nudge on his shoulder.

"Hey," Paige said when she saw Jarid walking. "Lose something?"

"Just wondering if you wanted to come over," he asked. "Unless you've got something else to do."

He smiled, "if you say so." She looked great in anything as far as he was concerned, "would you like me to come pick you up?"

"Sure," she replied with a smile. "That would be nice."

"great." He couldn't stop smiling

"jaime," Braden called out catching up to her, "you busy tonight?"

"I don't think so," she said with a shrug. "Why? Did you have plans?"

"So then I'll see you in a couple hours?" Brooklynn smiled.

"Sure," Paige said. "You making dinner?" She asked grinning

"Yeah we'll see," he grinned. "Maybe since I'm no good in the kitchen I should just take you out to dinner, if I lose." That sounded a lot better in his head. Smooth.

"Yeah ill see you then." He said but his smile faded just a bit. His heart picked up as he leaned in this time pressing the goodbye kiss to her lips

"i was hoping we could maybe get together." Braden replied

Paige laughed. "Should I put something nicer on then? Since you're going to lose."

She smiled against his lips. She really liked him. She just hoped his parents would like her.

"What did you have in mind?" Jaimie asked. Sasha would be fine alone for a few hours, she was 14 after all.

He pulled away with a small smoke on his lips, " see you in a few hours beautiful." He said the turned and walked out of the school

"you could come over and we could have dinner, watch a movie...see where the evening takes us."

Brooklynn blushed as he walked away, leaning her head on her closed locker. Wow.

"Sounds wonderful," Jaimie agreed. "I can think of all kinds of things to do if we get bored," she added softly, with a smirk.

He grinned. Okay, so maybe it wasn't an awful line. "Well I'd hate to make you wear a skirt. I know you hate that."

She smirked, "I was thinking jeans without holes in them."

"Perfect," he grinned. "But of course, this is only if I lose. Which is probably unlikely. I'm feeling good today. Like a winner!"

"I'll want desert too." Paige said. "What time should I come over?"

"5?" he suggested. "That way it won't be too late to eat. After I beat you, of course."

"Sounds good." She zipped her jacket, "see you at 5."

Jarid nodded and slung his backpack over his shoulder. "See ya," he said before walking out of the building.

Brooklynn went home and changed out of her jeans and tshirt and into a skirt and nice cardigan. She was really determined for his parents to like her.

Paige went home and changed into black skinny jeans and a red sweater. She grabbed her purse and headed to Jarids.
