"Kill joy," Keller grunted as he set her down," now who wasn't ready."

Athena ducked and brought her shoulder into his chest, knocking him onto the floor.

clipping his legs together around her ankles he pulled pulling her legs out from under her

Athena fell to the floor, laughing. "okay, you win."

"You better believe it." he smiled as he stood up

She reached up and grabbed his arm, pulling as she kicked his feet out from under him

Falling he tried to keep himself from landing on her, " you little snipe." he grinned

She grinned, "I have to make sure you're ready for anything."

he rolled his eyes, "you are such a punk." he chuckled

Athena jumped up, "you only feel that way because you got beat by a girl," she teased.

"Right because you cheated." he said gettingup

"Cheated? Me?" She shook her head with a grin. "Never."

keller rolled his eyes, "right little miss honest."

"Come on, let's get something to eat," she said.

"Not at all," August replied. "They're the leaders, thu have to present a united front. Most likely they'll call a full meeting tonight and tell everyone what's going on. Introduce you guys, you know," he shrugged.

River nodded. "It's worrying though. They could get anyone to tell them anything."

he chuckled, "what that gruel we've been eating for a week?"

"Oh...well...I guess I'm not much of a group person..." he said tucking his hands into his pockets

"Yeah but as of right now he said that it was still in progress so hopefully he can slow them down."

"that's all we have," athena said

"Yeah I know," he said as they walked, " its just...getting old is all."

Athena nodded, "we found a bunker in one of the buildings. It has sinks and showers, hot water heaters."

:Oh...Hot water. that sounds amazing," he sighed

"It does," athena agreed. "We'll just have to get everything to work."

'That would be amazing." he stepped into the "dining hall."

"We'll have to go back soon and see if anything will work." She looked at the food the others were eating, Keller was right it was the same thing they'd had all week.

August nodded. "Yeah well, you kinda get over that here." He laughed.

River nodded. "As long as he doesn't put his position in danger. We can't afford to lose him."

"how about now?" Keller said plopping a blob onto his plate

"of course we can't loose him...but we do need him to do...certain things."

Tevon shrugged,"i guess."

Athena chuckled, "if its okay with River and Greg."

"speaking of, have you seen either of them since you got back?" He asked

She shook her head, "no. River is probably telling him about the building but she should have been done by now."

"unless they are having desert before dinner, " he said with a wink

"If he were to be caught, we'd be blind. And they could get quite a bit of information about us from him."

"Come on, I'll show you around," August motioned for the two men to follow him.

"That's very true. I wish we could get another person inside."

"great." Tevon smiled folowing the man

Athena rolled her eyes. "Eat your food. I'm sure they are discusssing what we found."

"oh come on Athena, where's your sense of...dirt.." he grinned sitting down, " they haven't exactly kept it a secret."

"What goes on between them is their business, not ours," she said. "Besides, they both deserve to be happy."

"yeah well at least they have a chance at it." He said taking a bite of his food

"We all do," Athena said as she filled her fork with food. "the war isn't going to last forever."

"yeah just our lifetime." He said bitterly

She took a bite of her food. "You don't know that. And look on the bright side, I am here to keep your life exciting."

He chuckled," that's true." He took another bite," all joking aside Athena...when was the last time you were with someone?"

She played with her food for a few minutes. "Six months ago...maybe longer."
