She looked back at him, her face curious for a moment before turning to face him full on.

She pulled herself closer to him, letting her free hand trail up to rest on his neck. She'd said just moments earlyer that they could be friends, that she could deal with this. She knew she could hide her feelings away, push them far away into someplace that she'd never have to see and try and continue but this... this would be something that she would miss dearly.
