he didn't know what to say. it was so simple a gift but something she had remembered....really put thought into. he looked at the DVD then back at her, " thank you."

She smiled at him, “it was my pleasure,“ she said.

he got up and stuck it in then sat back down, " do you want any popcorn or anything?"

She shook her head, “thanks, but I'm fine, dinner was enough.“ She came and sat on the couch, tucking up her legs.

he let his arm rest on the couch behind her as the movie started

She was content to sit there with him in mostly silence as they watched the film. Shed never seen it so she was taking it in. The guy at the store said it was as much a guy film as a girl and she had to agree, she really enjoyed it.

By the middle of the film Blane's arm had slipped down around her shoulders

She found herself gradually becoming closer and closer to him as the film progressed but had no objections.

The credits finally were rolling, " well that was a good movie."

"yeah it was, I see why you like him as an actor," she replied.

he nodded, " so who is your favorite actor?"

"I think I'll still have to stick with Leonardo DeCaprio, him in Romeo and Juliet... it's just so good," she replied.

Blane chuckled, " I do have to hand it to him in that performance."

She smiled, "That film never fails to make me cry."

he didn't realize he was doing it till after he had done it. his arm that was around her shoulders tightened bringing her closer to him, " it's designed to be a tear jerker."
