"How can I trust you if you arent honest with me James?" Her hand slid over her abdomen. "How can I trust you with my child?" She added in a whisper in a moment of bravery. He might not even catch it.

Tears came into her eyes and she shrinked away from him. "Yes." She whispered. "I'm sorry."

he shook his head and reached out his hand his fingers parely skimming over her hand at her stomach, " wow...we're going to have a babay," he smiled, " wow."

"You're not mad?" She whispered her eyes still full of fear.

She shrugged. "How will we take care of it?" She asked. "How can we support it?...." She rambled on more questions nervously talking. She paused. "James...if we decide to do this, I need you to be honest with me."

She nodded. In the past hour she had already come to love this child more than almost everyone in the world. Only he held her heart more captive. The doctor came back in with a machine. After Lizzy said James could stay she smiled. "Ok, if we're lucky we can hear the heart beat too." She hooked Lizzy up to the machine. It took a few minutes but they finally heard a faint beating sound. Lizzy's eyes teared up as she looked from the monitor to James.

James felt like he couldn't breath. he didn't want any sound interfearing with that steady beet, " wow." he whispered. it was amazing

Lizzy broke out in a smiled and laughed softly.
