He lay down by her, he put his arm around her

" Hey there," Emily told Shadow.

He looked at her and smiled. "Hey love..." HE said and smiled.


Raptor smirked. 'So what where they? your pack mates?" She asked and walked up to her. The werewolf was snarling, but she was backing up. The werewolf was stunned in a way, she did not expect this human to kill them, now she was scared. Raptor jumped forward, she rolled under the werewolf and sunk her blades into her flesh. The werewolf snarled and leaped back, it landed a few feet away, then collapsed dead. Raptor got up, walked over to the werewolf and wiped her blades on its fur. She then walked away, the blades back in their seethes

Emily rolled on her back still watching him " Do you hear something?," Emily asked, looking around the room.

He looked around. "Nope" He said after a minuet

She rolled her eyes " No, wonder you don't have wolf like ears," Emily told him, jumping up on her feet " My cousins are no!," Emily told him with tears rolling down her cheeks " We most save them Shadow!," Emily told him.

He looked out the window, some glass still clung to the sides. They would need to fix the windows. He wrapped his arms around her, in this state she couldn't be allowed to leave, and he couldn't come, some of the last rays of the sun still hung outside.

Raptor walked deeper into the forest, she looked around, she felt as if she was watched, she drew her blades and stopped, she started turning round and round. Then she gasped as something slammed into her back, she heard a flutter of great wings and a hiss. Her blood ran cold at the hiss. She landed into a tree, she turned ROUND AND SAW A CREATURE, MAN LIKE, YET IT HAD WINGS, CLAWS, AND FANGS. sHE GASPED, FOR THE first time she was seeing a hybrid. She tried to step back but the tree was in her way, she was not ready to face hybrid's yet, she needed more training, her specialty's where werewolf's after all. The forest was deathly quiet, it seemed to grow deeper as the hybrid took in a deep breath. At this Raptor lunged, one blade going for its heart, the other for its neck. The hybrid reacted extremely fast,m with a swirl of limbs she found herself in great pain and on the ground. She saw it standing over her, then when she followed its wings she saw they where in her shoulders. The creature twisted its wings and she screamed, her shoulder's poped out of their sockets. The hybrid smiled a bit then drew back its wings, her crimson blood on them, it brought its right wing to its mouth and licked the blood off a bit. The hybrid looked at her, he knew he had a kill. Raptor tried to move, but then cried out in pain again, her arms throbbed with pain, her vision started to darken as blood spilled out onto the grass. She had two ways to die here now, and one way to live. She thought she would die here and now.

" We need to get out there and save them!," Emily told him, pulling him away from her.

He let her go. He couldn't bear to force her to do, or in this case not do something. "Please don't go....i can't leave while there is sun light, or moon light out, and you can't go either...think of the child, think of Muse, what if you die? who'll take care of her?" HE asked her and sat on the bed, he suddenly felt dizzy.

Raptor felt tears come to her eyes, she hadn't cried in years, over 15 years it has been. The hybrid looked at her and bent down, his face was almost against hers. "You humans are all the same, think you can kill our mighty race, well i got news for you, there are more of us then you may think...." He said and raised his rights hand, his claws flashed. Raptor closed her eyes tightly. Her reasoning was 'Why see my own death?'. But the blow never landed. She opened one eye a bit, and saw that he was gone.

" You would take care of her and I'm not going any where the sounds stopped so we safe for now love," Emily told him, with her eyes closed " OW!," Emily said, with tears rolling down her cheeks.

He hugged her. "Come now, don't cry my love" HE said and wiped the tears away

" I'm not crying I'm in pain!," Emily told him, making a fist.

"Sorry..." He muttered. "But still....don't be" He said and put one of his hands on her belly

" He's growing like a weed!," Emily told him, now breathing faster then before " Not like Muse was," Emily told him.

He closed his eyes. He felt so powerless, so useless now that he couldn't do anything to help her.
