"It was good to be in class, its nice to have some bit of normal, no matter how small it is," she said

he nodded with a smile, " yeah...it is. so where were you in such a hurry to?"

"I have to get back to the hospital and then I have a meeting with some diplamats and I have to pick the food, music, decorations and my dress for my birthday party, if I'm even going to still have it," she stared at him for a minute. "And I shouldn't have just told you all that."

he looked at her trying to proses, " diplomats?"

"You dont watch the news, do you?" she asked.

he shook his head, " not recently." he said looking at jaimie for a second to see if she knew what was going on and she seemed to. he looked back to Paige

"I uhm, wow, I'm not sure how to explain." she said

he shook his head and smiled, " you don't have to. I'm just your art teacher." and he meant it. why should she tell him anything.

Paige blinked, that hurt, and she didn't know why. "Yeah, I have to go, bye." She turned and stared walking down the hall

he frowned. what had he said? she sounded offended.

Paige pushed the door open and walked out. She thought they were friends. But apperently she was wrong. She pushed through the reporters as she headed to her car

'Paige," Peter called out to her as he fallowed

She turned and forced a smile, "hi."

he reached out and took her hand, " Hey."

"She's a princess," Jaimie said, her voice sharp. "Of some small country in europe or something." She folded her arms across her chest. What was wrong with him? Why wasn't he falling over himself to be with her?
