"It was fine," she shrugged, taking another sip of wine. "Nothing too special."

he weighed that for a second and drank the rest of his wine. oh he had one up on her so good

"And you?" she asked. "You spent the day with Brooke or whatever her name is, I'm guessing," because Paige refused to talk to him.

here it came but he didn't betray anything with the smile he so wanted to show, " no actually I spent the day with Paige."

She blinked, surprised. "Oh, well, good for you. And it went well then?" now she really wanted to kick him. She'd have to have atalk with Paige, warn her about Peter's unsavory habits...

he thought for a moment as he looked at his empty glass, " yeah...yeah I think it went really well. " now he allowed himself a small smile

Jaimie forced a smile and drained the rest of her glass. Hmm. She had to step up her game.

he looked up at her, " you would agree that a kiss meant it went well right?"

"Was she any good?" Jaimie asked, ignoring his prodding.

his smile grew just a hint, " oh yeah..." he said nodding at the memory, " her French style was perfect."

"Who could have predicted that?" Jaimie said, her voice sounding a bit astounded as she leaned back in her seat.

he nodded, " I know....I told her a little too much of my past though...." he sighed, " she was a bit upset but nothing another kiss couldn't fix." he was trying to disarm her

"So over all a very productive day?" she asked, smiling. She was going to make him regret it. He was going to be begging for it, anything from her.

he nodded, " yeah I would say so." what was her game? he couldn't figure it out quite yet and it bothered him

"Good, I'm happy for you," she nodded. Her fingers played with the now empty wine glass, running up and down the stem slowly.
