Caleb turned and walked to the next thing and left the two to themselves
ben leaned in and kissed her, " I love you."

She kissed him back, smiling. "And I love you too."

he smiled but before he could say anything-
" you two should come look at this!" Caleb exclaimed as he looked into one of the cages. he was so fastinated by everything

AJ laughed and looked over to Caleb. She took Ben's hand as they walked over. She liked having Caleb with them, he fit in well with them.

after a few hours they all decided to sit down and have a bit at one of the little convinient shops at the zoo

AJ tried not to laugh about how oddly normal this felt as they ate. She liked it, she liked doing something like this, something so ordinary but at the same time, so... extrodinary.

Caleb chattered on about school and Marcy and things he wanted to do. for being only ten he had a life plan worthy of a twenty year old.

AJ was slightly surprised by his dreams, they were so well formed for a 10 year old. She mentally reminded herself that she needed to ask him about his question earlier. "Sounds like you've got your whole life planned out," she said with a smile.

he laughed, " well I try. My mom...you know being...I just wanted to knwo what I'm doing. I don't want to be aimless."

"It's a good plan," AJ assured him. Her parents were nothing compared to Caleb's mom and then Ben's parents.

he nodded as he took a bite of ice cream, " thanks." he liked being with AJ and Ben. he didn't see why Marcy was so dead set against him

After a moment or two, AJ stood. "Anyone else have to use the bathroom?" she asked.

the two guys shook thier heads.

AJ nodded and left. The women's bathroom was relatively empty and AJ was soon washing her hands. She paused to look in the mirror, running a hand through her hair. She needed to talk to Caleb, she wanted to know why he'd asked his earlier question.
