"What a formidable opponent you are!" laughed Vivien. "This shall indeed be a desperate struggle!" She resecured her arms around Morgan; and as soon as she felt Morgan's arms around her likewise, she started them rolling over the autumn leaves, in a rotating embrace which continued until a tree stopped them. They paused there just long enough to kiss, then Vivien simply rolled them in the other direction.

Melona watched him with her arms around her legs with a frown " Thee have fun," Melona told him.

Laughing Morgan tryed to stop Vivian but the momentum was too much. They both just kept on rolling untill they bumped into something.

THE PREVIOUS AFTERNOON (FOREST SAUVAGE):

" My fun?" said Aglovale. " This is for thee to be watching! I already know these movements; I am endeavoring to instruct thee! Thou thyself didst wish to learn the use of a weapon; wilt now refuse even to look?"


THE FOLLOWING MORNING (ISLE OF AVALON):

Both girls--for girls did they both appear now, and both were in equal health, despite one being close to a hundred years old--were dizzied by the second sudden stop. Vivien was underneath; but recovering a heartbeat sooner, she rolled them back a half-turn so she was on top. Triumphantly kissing Morgan again, she exclaimed, "Victory is mine! You are my prisoner! You can never leave me or escape from me, as long as I live!"

Melona laughed " Yes, I'm watching thee don't thee worriy," Melona told him.

Melona kissed him back " Soon we need to get back to the others love I don't want my father have a looking party for us," Melona told him.

" I had fun being with you and no, one could borther us," Melona told him, kissing him on his lips.

Aglovale held that kiss awhile, then they remounted their horses for the short ride back to Castle Sauvage.

~ ~ I suggest that we let Aglovale, Melona and those around them jump ahead to the next day, so as to be even with the Avalon characters and Arthur's little expedition.

On the second day of Arthur's absence from Camelot, the questions from knights about what the High King was doing became too insistent. Having been told he need not lie, Sir Kay told his fellow knights this much: "His Majesty and Merlin are on a short journey to obtain for Arthur's use a sword to replace the Sword of the Stone, which was broken by the giant Galapas."


On that same day, Melona was to have her chance to accompany a hunt. Sir Ector decided to pay courtesy to all his visitors, including Steward Octavius of Tarnwell, by taking them on a hunt guided by Melona's father William Twyti. William asked the fief lord if Melona might come with them; Sir Ector agreed, provided that both Sir Lamorak and Squire Aglovale stayed near Melona to keep her safe. As they set out in search of either boars or stags, Lamorak and Melona were both armed with spears, while Aglovale went as an archer.

Melona stayed closed to the guys so she won't get in any ones way.
