With that, Josiah kissed her once more, then began arranging his body evenly above hers, building up to the special thing. And if no further description is written, let it be understood that this married couple WAS doing that which IS perfectly lawful for married couples to do.

Yuvati was filled with so much joy over this she could hardly contain it. she loved this man and he loved her and now his mother loved the god who had brought them out of such darkness. there was so much joy in her heart

Walid regained command of himself, remembering things which both Ranjit and Wayne had spoken to him.... "Let me try to explain, Mother. The Koran says that Allah has no son; but that line was written because our human minds think of sons always as the product of sex. Of course the all-powerful, eternal God could never be interested in sex with a mortal woman! But He did NOT have to have sex with the Virgin Mary to have a Son...."

After just a little more explaining, Meseha Omar was more than ready to make it official. There in that police training room, embraced by her son and his bride, she prayed and became officially a child of the actual God.

Meanwhile, by prior arrangement, Barbara Parmenter visited Lowell Sanders in his office. Due to her voluntary confession of the past assault, Barbara had been let out on a very lenient bail until her trial. She had come to Lowell to reassure him that she had not revealed, nor would reveal, anything damaging to him. Through the very fact of trying to safeguard him, Barbara felt a greater tenderness toward her male friend than she could recall ever feeling toward him before, let alone toward any other man. But she couldn't help sensing that Lowell was more concerned with his own safety, and less with her welfare, than she might have wished. She came away from the meeting with much to think about.

Sarah slowly sipped the water that Jack had brought her, " Jack, you...you don't deserve to say...." she didn't know how to put what was on her heart and mind, " I love you." it seemed to sum everything up

Yuvati felt a few tears run down her face though she was smiling from ear to ear. she never cried in front of men...never until now

Walid looked around at the chaplain. "Sir, since we already have our wedding license... and since almost all of our wedding party is here...if we can get Ranjit and Glenda here, could we skip the rehearsal and have the actual wedding today?"

"I'd be okay with that," said the chaplain; "but we need to know how the bride feels about it."

Sarah smiled, " thanks." she reached up a thin hand and touched his face. he was so wonderful he didn't deserve to be left like this. her thumb brushed across his lips and she felt her heart tremble. this was so unfair to him

He stooped to kiss her softly, with just a slight token movement of his tongue to let her know that he would always remember the quality of passion they had shared while they could.

"Why not?" asked Walid. "We both know that we intend to be married, and this way our coming together will be on the same day as my mother joining us in the faith. We don't HAVE TO do it today if you don't want to, or if Ranjit and Glenda can't make it; but we COULD."

Jack smiled wistfully. " I was already planning to do _more_ than a minute of lying beside you in the 22 hours or so that we have left before the hospital move;" and he placed himself close alongside his beloved.

With her usual efficiency, Giulietta took the initiative to place calls to Ranjit and Glenda. The latter was working at her Wal-Mart job, but the manager let her leave early for this occasion. It had been planned all along that Josiah and Melody would not come to the wedding, on the chance that enemies were still spying on Josiah's movements; but the Redferns would be at a sort of secret reception planned for tomorrow night at the home of some Vineyard Church members. Thus, by the magic of text-based roleplay, we now find Ranjit and Glenda in the police building too. In order to give Glenda some function, Ranjit had picked up flowers on the way; he felt sure that no one would object to an adult flower girl tossing petals on the floor in front of the bride.

Catching Glenda's eye, the chaplain said with a smile, "Flower girl, may we have the flowers tossed now?" As he said this, Ranjit was linking arms with his cousin, preparing to present her to her groom. Giulietta had the presence of mind to take cellphone photos of the scene as beheld from the front. Once Glenda was done scattering the flowers, Giulietta would hand the cellphone to her to enable pictures to be taken from the opposite direction.

Jack returned the kiss, then told Sarah, " For God's sake, don't have ANY thoughts now about it 'not being good enough.' Every slightest touch I get from you on this last day at home will be a treasure that I'll carry with me forever. I love you."
