Before the workday was over, Danny learned how Jack had witnessed to Nate, so he resolved to follow up. Knowing that Jack would take Sarah home, Danny headed for the rehab center once he was free, phoning Tashonda to let her know he meant to see Nate before joining her for the Pre-Turkey Supper. Jack, meanwhile, did indeed offer to drive Sarah home.

Sarah smiled, " thanks Jack." she said as she got everything together

Lenny took a deep breath, " I want to marry her sir."

One bounce had extra English on it and strayed in the direction of the door. It was caught on the fly by Clay, just coming in. " You must be the darling of the N.Y.P.D.; another cop wants to see you--the one who is the reason why you're still breathing."

As they got into Jack's car, he asked, " Do you have the energy to make a short detour to an organic foodstore? I placed an order there by phone; I only need to rush inside, pay them, and rush back out to the car with the food--various vegetarian products that can be run through your blender."

Sarah got in the car, " I do have the energy Jack but you don't need to buy my groceries for me."

he debated if he should tell him or not and decided total honesty was best, " well sire...to be totally honest I am very physically attracted to Sam and I don't want to do things out of order."
