Melody pulled him closer to her " Lets see if he'll do it?," Melody thought, closing her eyes.

GLenda nodded
"Well..." Mrs Peters didn't look at either of them, " thank you Ranjit fo rbringing her home."
Glenda sigehed. it had been inevitable ut she had hoped for a differant outcome


Lenny nodded, " I've been praying a lot too and...Sam honestly I really don't know right now."

Ranjit gave no sign of disappointment that Mrs. Peaters had not approved of an engagement on the spot. He simply said, "You're welcome. And I thank God for bringing Glenda this far along the road to healing. He always intended to heal her mind; we're seeing it happen. He has His own timing, but He does not just leave a situation static and unchanging." Ranjit knew that this also applied to Mrs. Peaters' effort to trap Glenda in time and keep her single indefinitely; it would not be able to continue for always.


Meanwhile, not being able to with Lolita what he would wish to do, Lowell Sanders was turning some of his attention back to his other source of gratification: play-acting as the noble wise man who spoke truth to power. He would involve himself more actively in the effort by his mosque friends to circulate and exploit the totally made-up story about Christians having been the rioters outside Lolita's birthday party.

GLenda stood up and walked him to the door, " I'm sorry about that," she said quietly

Sarah got out of the tub and wrapped a towl around herself. she walked into teh kitchen and took down the bttle of wine agian. uncorking t she stopped just short of getting ehrself another glass. she tok a few dep breaths then put it back where it lived and st her wine glass in the sink. that wasn't going to help her any. she got her PJ's on and tried going to bed

Melody closed her eyes then placed on her hands on her stomach and the other pulling her husband closer to her " I try to make him .... I want to have another one," Melody thought.

Melody slide her free hand down his back kissing his left ear " I love you Josiah," Melody told her husband, now rolling him on top.

Elijah started to cry.

~ ~ I choose to believe that BEFORE Elijah began crying, Josiah had already completed you-know-what for one time, and that it was an attempt to do it again that the baby interrupted.

In almost a single unbroken movement, Josiah kissed Melody, hoisted himself up, went to the cradles, determined which baby was crying, and very delicately scooped up Elijah. He needed to be changed; so Josiah took advantage of what mothers at church had taught him during Melody's pregnancy, and began changing his son. Over his shoulder he humorously remarked, " You know, Mel, this is much more fun than what we were doing....NOT!!!"

Melody laughed " Well he a baby he can't contrail what he is doing," Melody told her husband, taking Elijah " Are you hungry aren't you now?," Melody asked, her son, now feeding him " We can finish up after I take care of our son," Melody told her husband.

" Yeah, you can take back this sleepy head now," Melody told her husband, now taking Isaiah " Hey there you hungry like your brother aren't you?," Melody told her son, letting him be fed " I think you have someone to look over soon," Melody told her son, with a huge smile on her face.

" I don't know I think you need to show me," Melody told him, pulling him closer to her " I love you Josiah," Melody told her husband, cuddling up next to him " If this works I'll get pregnant no time and have fun at the same time," Melody thought, with a smirk on her face.
